Humayun Ahmed was born on 13 November 1948 in Mohongonj, Netrokona, but his village house is Kutubpur, Mymensingh,[14] Bangladesh (then East Pakistan). His dad, Faizur Rahman Ahmed, a police officer and writer, was killed by Pakistani military during the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971, and his mom is Ayesha Foyez.
